Second Meeting in 2019 of TCMA-Working Committee on Environment

  May 10, 2019: TCMA members’ representative attended in the 2/2019 TCMA-Working Committee on Environment at TCMA’s Office, chaired by Khun Yutthapon Jaidee. In-house matters on environment brought into the discussion, including actions of cement industry on greenhouse gas emission reduction, based on Thailand Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Roadmap.

‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement’ -- Thailand Contribution to Goal 13 of Global Agenda-Climate Action

December 24, 2019: Members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the representatives of Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning (DTP), Ministry of Interior observed the performance testing of hydraulic cement, an environmentally friendly product with greenhouse gas emission reduction at the laboratory of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). TCMA requested DTP pursue bold actions to use hydraulic cement in public construction projects in order to achieve the country target, particularly in the sector of Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU).

Cement Partnership Project: Contribution of Cement Industry to the Education and Community

December 13, 2019: Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, General Manager of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) joined with members, The Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Co., Ltd. and and Siam City Cement PLC who are main sponsorship of the project, to deliver building to Banpawangkwang School for the multi-purpose use of school and community. The event presided over by Khun Peerapol Tantha-opas, Deputy Governor, on behalf of Saraburi Governor.
