Sixth Meeting in 2024 of Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology

  Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) members’ representative attended 6/2024 meeting of Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology, chaired by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai. The meeting followed up work progress and way forward to reach goal as set ‘leveraging innovation for energy transition of cement industry’, including the project proposal under the grant green fund from Candana Government and facilitate by UNIDO with aims at accelerating decarbonization Thai cement and concrete sectors.

Knowledge Sharing on Carbon Capture and Storage in Basalt

The team of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) by Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement-led by Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong and Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology-led by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai attended knowledge sharing session on “Capture of CO2 with Aggregates”, lecture by Professor Dr. Kittitep Fuenkajorn from Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology to identify the challenges and its necessary actions for the possible storing carbon dioxide.
