Sharing Thai Cement Action on Energy Transition at 26th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition

Khun Pakasit Puengrasami, member of Working Group TCMA on Operational Excellence and Energy Transition, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) presented Thai cement action on ‘Energy Transition: Accelerating Thai Cement’s Path to Net Zero 2050’ in the 26th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition of the ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM), organized by the Cement & Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA) on behalf of AFCM. 

Since 1979, the AFCM Symposium has been a key event for the ASEAN cement industry, held every three years.  It will include technical discussions, presentations, and an exhibition with leaders and experts from the global cement sector showcasing the latest advancements in decarbonization.

The team of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) by Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement-led by Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong and Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology-led by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai attended knowledge sharing session on “Capture of CO2 with Aggregates”, lecture by Professor Dr. Kittitep Fuenkajorn from Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology to identify the challenges and its necessary actions for the possible storing carbon dioxide.
