TCMA at 26th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition

On behalf of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General and Khun Pakorn Leopairut, Vice-Charmian led the team attended the opening ceremony of 26th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition, presided over by Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad, Malaysian Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. In this regard, TCMA presented token of appreciation to His excellency MNRES minister. 

Since 1979, the AFCM Symposium has been a key event for the ASEAN cement industry, held every three years.  It will include technical discussions, presentations, and an exhibition with leaders and experts from the global cement sector showcasing the latest advancements in decarbonization.

Knowledge Sharing on Carbon Capture and Storage in Basalt

The team of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) by Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement-led by Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong and Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology-led by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai attended knowledge sharing session on “Capture of CO2 with Aggregates”, lecture by Professor Dr. Kittitep Fuenkajorn from Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology to identify the challenges and its necessary actions for the possible storing carbon dioxide.
