Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Secretary of Working Group TCMA-Environment and Climate Action, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the team participated 3/ 2024 Meeting of Working Committee on Inventory and Measures to Reduce Greenhouse Gas: Industrial Process and Product Use (IPPU) Sector to update cement industry contribution on GHG reduction for Thailand NDC target, chaired by Dr. Phirun Saiyasitpanich, Director-General of Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE) as National Secretariat of Climate Change Coordination.

The team of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) by Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement-led by Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong and Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology-led by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai attended knowledge sharing session on “Capture of CO2 with Aggregates”, lecture by Professor Dr. Kittitep Fuenkajorn from Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology to identify the challenges and its necessary actions for the possible storing carbon dioxide.
