‘Waste Heat Recovery’: Contribution of Cement Industry to Thailand Greenhouse Gases Emission Reduction-Energy Sector

July 30, 2021: Khun Somwung Sintumongkolchai, Chair of TCMA-Environment, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) participated virtual meeting of 1/2021 Working Group on Greenhouse Gases Report and Reduction Measures-Energy Sector, chaired by Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The meeting recognized an action of cement industry in waste heat recovery (WHR) for electrical production, which can be one of significant contribution to Thailand greenhouse gases emission reduction in energy sector and agreed to include WHR of cement industry in GHG reduction measure for the achieving of Thailand NDC roadmap.
