February 12, 2018: In responding with global agenda on sustainable development, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) joined hand with Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) and Ministry of Industry (M-Industry) and relevant government authorities concerned to organize “Thailand Green and Smart Mining Forum 2018” with the theme ‘Mining with Good Governance and Environmental Friendly’, presided over by General Surasak Karnjanarat, MNRE’s Minister. TCMA’s Vice-Chair, Khun Nopadol Ramyarupa on behalf of TCMA’s Chair declared intension on behalf of Thai cement manufacturers to continue conducting businesses in good governance, ethical, transparent, and environmentally responsible along with community care for sustainable growth. The joint signed Declaration of Intent has been made to engage Thai mining operators in environmentally friendly and make balancing of economic, society, environment and public health which is an ultimate goal of the Mineral Act B.E. 2560. |
