CSR Activity

Thai Cement Manufacturers Association by the Working Group on Environment together with Jalaprathan Cement (Public) Co.,Ltd. organized CSR activity at Baan Nong Tha Pod School, Cha-am District, Petchaburi province on May 30, 2014. This activity is one of the action plans initiated by the Working Group on Environment for the year of 2013. The scholarship of Baht 100,000 has been given to the school in order to establish a Learning Center for Self-Sufficient Economy and the ASEAN Study for students of Baan Nong Tha Pod School in order to improve students’ knowledge on Self – Sufficient Economy and ASEAN Economics Community (AEC).

Ms. Somthida Piyapana, General Manager of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association and Mr. Suraphong Kuntangkitseri, Plant Manager of Jalaprathan Cement PLC. presided over the event and delivered the opening speeches. There were also members of the Working Group of Environment of TCMA attending and giving 120 scholarships as well as uniforms to the students of Baan Nong Tha Pod School.
