‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement’ – Cement Industry Contribution to Goal 13 of Global Agenda-Climate Action

  January 21, 2020: Members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the representatives of Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning (DTP), Ministry of Interior and Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources followed up the performance testing of hydraulic cement, an environmentally friendly product with greenhouse gas emission reduction at the laboratory of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). Balancing technical cooperation and policy coordination, TCMA is working with the relevant authorities concerned using hydraulic cement given the magnitude of achieving Thailand Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Roadmap on Mitigation 2021 – 2030.

Project on ‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement' has been campaigned since 2017 in both public and private sectors to ensure of cement production process be contributed to the achievement of Thailand Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Roadmap on Mitigation 2021 – 2030 and respond to global challenges on environment for sustainable growth.
