Be Update on National Policy and Mechanism Towards Thailand Sustainability

  September 25, 2019: Thai government representatives from Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment together with Ministry of Industry updated participants on Thailand national policy and mechanism on climate change and circular economy related to cement industry during 2 days event of TCMA 20th Technical Workshop and Exhibition, hosted by TCMA.

TCMA Technical Workshop and Exhibition is a flagship activity, initiated by Working Committee on Technical since 1998. Technical workshop in parallel with exhibition will be organized for participating of professionals and engineers from leading Thai cement manufacturers, who are member of TCMA and leading technology companies around the world for cement industry to ensure that cement industry as a primary industry for basic infrastructure of the country development, is environmentally friendly industry and leads towards sustainable development.

‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement’ -- Thailand Contribution to Goal 13 of Global Agenda-Climate Action

December 24, 2019: Members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the representatives of Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning (DTP), Ministry of Interior observed the performance testing of hydraulic cement, an environmentally friendly product with greenhouse gas emission reduction at the laboratory of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). TCMA requested DTP pursue bold actions to use hydraulic cement in public construction projects in order to achieve the country target, particularly in the sector of Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU).
