Thailand Minerals Framework Classification

  July 25, 2019: Members of Working Committee on Mining and Mineral Resources, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led by Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong contributed in the brainstorming session on Thailand Minerals Framework Classification (TMFC), organized by Department of Mineral Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. This session followed the Mineral Act B.E. 2560 with aims to determine factors for TMFC i.e. geology, mining technology & project status, economical value, social value, and environment & public health.

‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement’ -- Thailand Contribution to Goal 13 of Global Agenda-Climate Action

December 24, 2019: Members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the representatives of Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning (DTP), Ministry of Interior observed the performance testing of hydraulic cement, an environmentally friendly product with greenhouse gas emission reduction at the laboratory of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). TCMA requested DTP pursue bold actions to use hydraulic cement in public construction projects in order to achieve the country target, particularly in the sector of Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU).
