July 16, 2018: At the public hearing to Draft Action Plan on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emission Reduction in Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU) and Industrial Waste Water, organized by Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, Khun Yutthapol Jaidee, Chair of Working Committee on Environment-Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) contributed the meeting on Thai cement sector action and its role in reaching the target; and request the government support through related policy, in the framework of the discussion on Thailand Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) B.E. 2020 – 2030. Approach on ‘Go Green with Hydraulic Cement’, an environmentally friendly product with greenhouse gas emission reduction, has been proposed for consideration of using in government’s construction projects to ensure environment full potential contributing to achievement of country roadmap. |
