TCMA and DCCE Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

  Khun Mongkon Pornchunchoovong, Assistant Secretary-General of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, TCMA Executive Director had a consultation with Dr. Phirun Saiyasitpanich, Director-General of Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and his team on joint work under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors. DCCE is stand ready to support TCMA in driving project be alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
