Khun Parinya Vilaithum and Khun Thanet Buaycharoen, member of Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) served as a representative of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) presented industry point of views in 1/ 2024 Working Committee on Setting Rock Management Guideline for Industry, co-chaired by Director of Industrial Raw Materials Management Division, Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry and Director of Mineral Resources, Department of Mineral Resources (DMR), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
