Fourth Progress Study to Decarbonize Cement Manufacturing

The team of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)- led by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai, Chair of Working Group TCMA on Innovation and Technology and the team of Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy- led by Dr. Saravanee Singtong, Director of Sustainable Policy Division provided technical advice to the team of Nomura Research Institute Thailand-led by Khun Kraiwin Lertsakornsiri, Senior Consultant of Consulting Department in the 4th progress report of carbon dioxide (CO2) to methanol with aims at decarbonization in cement manufacturing.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
