Second Meeting in 2024 of Working Group TCMA on Operational Excellence and Energy Transition

  Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) members’ representative attended 2/2024 meeting of Working Group TCMA on Operational Excellence and Energy Transition, chaired by Khun Attawoot Klainin. The meeting discussed on work progress and related matters to synergize the actions towards Net Zero 2050 with all stakeholders make a net positive contribution to nature by minimizing the environmental footprint while maximizing the value for all stakeholders.

TCMA Board of Directors Meeting

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) welcomed Board of Directors and members to 3/2024 TCMA Board of Directors Meeting. Work progress of each working group in line with the TCMA’s policy focus has been reported, including in-house matters of cement industry brought into discussion. TCMA is cement manufacturer-led, Thai leading cement manufacturers coalition advocating for cement industry being basic infrastructure of the country development, becoming environmentally friendly industry, committing to social responsibilities engagement and leading towards sustainable development.

Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Secretary of Working Group TCMA-Environment and Climate Action, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the team presented cement industry point of views in focus group on Thailand Taxonomy-construction and manufacturing sector to review technical screening criteria, organized by Working Committee on Thailand Taxonomy in collaborating with Department of Climate Change and Environment, Bank of Thailand, Stock Exchange of Thailand, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
