TCMA and DIW Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

  Khun Mongkon Pornchunchoovong, Assistant Secretary-General of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, TCMA Executive Director discussed with Director-General Jullaphong Thaveesri of Industrial Works Department, Ministry of Industry and team on joint works under grant green fund valued CAD 8 million to help decarbonize Thai cement and concrete sectors. DIW is stand ready to support TCMA in driving project be alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
