Courtesy Call on Thai Ambassador to Malaysia

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) along with Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, TCMA Vice-Chairman and TCMA executive team paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia during the recent visit to Malaysia for the 70th Asian Cement Producers Amity Club (ACPAC) Workshop. In this regard, TCMA expressed the readiness to cooperate and in support of regional supply chain towards the achievement of SDG goal-climate change.

TCMA Board of Directors Meeting

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) welcomed Board of Directors and members to 3/2024 TCMA Board of Directors Meeting. Work progress of each working group in line with the TCMA’s policy focus has been reported, including in-house matters of cement industry brought into discussion. TCMA is cement manufacturer-led, Thai leading cement manufacturers coalition advocating for cement industry being basic infrastructure of the country development, becoming environmentally friendly industry, committing to social responsibilities engagement and leading towards sustainable development.

Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Secretary of Working Group TCMA-Environment and Climate Action, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the team presented cement industry point of views in focus group on Thailand Taxonomy-construction and manufacturing sector to review technical screening criteria, organized by Working Committee on Thailand Taxonomy in collaborating with Department of Climate Change and Environment, Bank of Thailand, Stock Exchange of Thailand, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
