Contribution to Thailand Taxonomy Phass II

  Khun Sukthawat Patawarakorn, Advisor to Working Group TCMA-Environment, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the team for having a technical discussion on cement production activity in term of greenhouse gas emissions information and energy with the team of Bank of Thailand by Financial Institutions Strategy Department, with aims at supporting the preparation of Thailand Taxonomy Phase II helping investors identify sustainable investment opportunities, encourages businesses to adopt environmentally friendly practices, and provides clarity and transparency in the growing market for sustainable finance.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
