  Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) updated talked to reporter of Gulf News-the largest English language newspaper in the Middle East on Thai cement industry focus efforts towards achieving Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete goal, emphasizing the importance of multisectoral collaboration both domestically and internationally, with the vision "Synergizing the Actions toward Net Zero 2050". TCMA, furthermore committed to enhancing partnerships with international agencies to bolster its capacity for work and seize opportunities to secure green funding for the green economy megatrend, supporting Thailand's net zero target.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
