June 25, 2018: The 2/2018 meeting of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-Working Committee on Occupational Health and Safety was attended by TCMA members’ representatives, hosted by the Siam City Cement Public Company Limited, Saraburi Plant. The discussion went to the details of 2018 work plan: -1) Guideline/medical certificate for health examination of confined-space workers, 2) Appropriate management for disposal of old fire extinguisher, and 3) Safety of scaffold for working at height, including practices/ experiences sharing among members to reduce risk of workplace accidents through the implementation of various occupational health and safety protocols. Maintaining an occupational health and safety is central increasing quality of life and be respond to Goal 3 of Global Agenda-Good Health and Well-Being. |
