New Year Season’s Greeting to Bureau of Location and Design, Department of Highways

On behalf of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), Dr. Wonchalerm Chalodhorn, Chair Working Group TCMA on Sustainability led the team took a New Year occasion in extending season’s greeting to Khun Somboon Thienthammachart, Director Bureau of Location and Design, Department of Highways (DOH), Ministry of Transport and also thank you BLD team for the joint effort in driving Thailand target of greenhouse gas emission reduction-clinker substitution by implementing of hydraulic cement-a low carbon cement in DOH’s construction project nationwide.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
