New Year Season’s Greeting to Chief Engineer, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning

On behalf of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director and Khun Mongkon Pornchunchoovong, member of Working Group TCMA on Sustainability took a New Year occasion in extending season’s greeting to Khun Pisut Sukhum, Chief Engineer, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning (DPT), Ministry of Interior and also thank you DPT team for the joint effort in driving Thailand target of greenhouse gas emission reduction-clinker substitution by setting the guideline to implement hydraulic cement-a low carbon cement in DPT’s construction project nationwide.

TCMA-UNIDO-GCCA Collaboration to Decarbonize Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand

The joint discussion among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA)-led by Dr. Chana Poomee, TCMA Chairman, UNIDO Headquarter -led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, UNIDO's Project Coordinator, and Global Cement and Concrete Association-led by Mr. Thomas Guillot, GCCA Chief Executive has been organized to find tune the first year of project action under Canada grant green fund to accelerate decarbonizing Thai cement and concrete sectors in alignment with Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap and Thailand's Nationally Determined Contribution Roadmap on Mitigation.
