The technical meeting on testing progress of low carbon cement, so called ‘hydraulic cement’ between Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Department of Highways (DoH), Ministry of Transport has been organized for solution-oriented aimed at finding way for low carbon cement adopt in DoH works, which will align with country’s climate policy on greenhouse gas emission reduction. Memorandum of Understanding “The Integrated Collaboration on Climate Change for Thailand Achieving Target of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction-Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU) Sector: Clinker Substitution” is collaboration among public, professional, industry and academic sectors with aimed to attain the reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) emission from measure of clinker substitution not less than 300,000 tons CO2 within the year 2022 by implementing a low carbon cement ‘Hydraulic Cement’ in all construction projects. |
