April 25, 2018: The 1/2018 meeting of TCMA-Working Committee on Occupational Health and Safety was attended by all TCMA members’ representatives, hosted by the Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Co., Ltd. The meeting was sharing practices/ experiences among members to reduce risk of workplace accidents through the implementation of various occupational health and safety protocols. 3 main topics have been selected for 2018 working plan: - 1) Guideline/medical certificate for health examination of confined-space workers, 2) Appropriate management for disposal of old fire extinguishers, and 3) Safety of scaffold for working at height. Maintaining an occupational health and safety is central increasing quality of life and be respond to Goal 3 of Global Agenda-Good Health and Well-Being. |
