The 6th Anniversary of Cement Partnership Project

August 23, 2018: Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, General-Manager of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) together with executive level of Siam Cement-KaengKoi and Siam City Cement-Saraburi Plant celebrate the 6th Anniversary of Cement Partnership Project, presided over by Khun Bundit Thewitiwarak, Saraburi Governor.

‘Cement Partnership Project’ is a collaboration among members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) with the ultimate goal to bring Saraburi, particularly community surrounding cement plants as a livable community with an industrial development. Cement industry, located in Saraburi Province as an environmental-friendly industry will expand their care to community, focusing on 3 main areas: - 1) Youth Development, 2) Community Development, and 3) Community Health Promotion. TCMA serves as the core of coordination.

Be Part of Social Support with Environmentally Cement

March 8, 2021: On behalf of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), Khun Sanit Ketsuwan, TCMA Advisor joined the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI)-project ‘FTI Fight Against COVID-19’ delivered building cohort centre, which used ‘Hydraulic Cement’-low carbon cement in the construction and can be reduced GHG at 8 tons/CO2, to Samut Sakhon Province-Khun Surasak Pholyoungsong, Vice Governor. The ceremony presided over by Dr. Sathit Pitutecha, Deputy Public Health Minister.

TCMA Scholarship on Primary Industries and Mines

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, TCMA Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General together with representative of Working Group TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement, congratulated and provided advice to Khun Dolnapha Phrairoj, Geologist of Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry, who received the third TCMA’s scholarship under 5 years memorandum of cooperation between TCMA and DPIM with aims to upskill DPIM’s potential officer and be part of building country competitiveness. Khun Dolnapha will take 2 years study in Master of Engineering Science at Akita University, Japan.

Cement Partnership Project: Contribution of Cement Industry to the Community

May 16, 2019: Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, General Manager of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) together with committee members of Cement Partnership Project intensified works to ensure the full implementation of 2019 activities of Cement Partnership Project in Saraburi Province. Activities hi-lighted are the 7th Football Cup which will take place in Saraburi during June – September 2019, constructed building for selected local school, Brother’s Teaching Project-academic cooperation with technical colleges in Saraburi, Health Project-for people living around cement plants, Waste-Free Project-for school, Green Logistics, including sharing knowledge and experiences on plant operations among members.

Rak Choom Chon Cup

Thai Cement Manufacturers Association together with Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Co.,Ltd. and Siam City Cement PLC. held a press conference on “Cement Partnership Football Cup” on June 28, 2013 at Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Co.,Ltd. The scholarship at the amount of Baht 75,000 will be given to the participating schools which will win the football match. The purpose of this activity is to encourage students to avoid drugs by playing sport for their good health. There were elementary students from 8 schools around Kaeng Khoi and Mua Lek areas participating in this football match.
